Returns Policy
Most items can be accepted for return based on the following conditions:
If there is a problem with your order, we encourage
you to e-mail us within 24 hours of delivery and we can usually accept
an item for replacement or repair. Orders which are not personalized,
can typically be returned for store credit if return is initiated within
48 hours of delivery receipt. Items which have been personalized or custom created for you cannot be returned. We do not offer money back for returns, so please make your purchases carefully. Please see cancellation of orders not shipped for opportunities to receive money back.
Items approved for return must be in original unused condition.
This includes but is not limited to: Pet stains, pet hair, odors of any
kind including food, pet or smoke. Item must be free of rips, tears
and be in perfect, unworn condition. Items must be packed carefully to
avoid damage to the product during transit- permanent wrinkles or
creases in the garment are unacceptable. If product comes with a tag,
tag must be attached to the item. Determination if a return meets this
criteria is left strictly to the discretion of The Trendy Baby. Returned items
not meeting the criteria will be refused and sent back to the original
purchaser. This is to protect us from "prom dress" syndrome returns- or
returns that are purchased for a special event or photography session
and then returned. The Trendy Baby reserves the right to refuse any return that is initiated more than 48 hours after confirmation of delivery.
You can expect to receive your store credit within 7 days after we receive your return. This time
period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the
shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your
return once we receive it, and the time it takes your bank to process
our refund request (2-3 business days).
If you need to return an
item, simply log in to your account, view the order using the "Complete
Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s)
button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received
and processed the returned item.
Cancellation of Orders Not Shipped
Should
you desire to cancel your order, this can be done within 24 hours of
placing the order. Most items are custom made to order and after 24
hours, the process of procuring the design has begun. Orders cancelled
after the 24 hour period will be processed on a case by case basis.
Items
approved for cancel after the 24 hour period will include one or more of
the following charges based on product: restock fee of 10% of the item purchase price (for items we carry in stock and have pulled for
shipping), return fee of 15% (for Trendy Baby brand items- after the
initial 24 hour hold period, orders begin the manufacturing process) 15%
cancellation fee (for other brands where the artisan must be informed
of the cancellation).
Shipping
We
can ship to most countries. Note that there are restrictions on some
products, and some products cannot be shipped to international
destinations.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping
and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and
the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you
choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Please
also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are
weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail
page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all
weights will be rounded up to the next full pound. We track all
International shipments from post to delivery; this price for this
service is included in International shipping prices. |
