Here is a list of our most frequently asked questions:

Q: How long will my order take to ship?
A: Most orders ship within 2 weeks. However, please allow up to 3 weeks for your item to ship.  If you need your item sooner, please be sure to add the rush creation fee during checkout. this will upgrade the turnaround time to one week.

Q: What makes your items different from other retailers?
A: All of our items are made to order with care and to the customer's specifications. We offer custom designs and only use trusted vendors for our products which have been tested and inspected by us! We don't sell anything we don't use ourselves!

Q: What if I want a design you don't carry?
A: Most of our designs started out as custom requests, so if you don't see what you are looking for, e-mail us and we will create a custom quote for you!

Q:What if I change my mind after ordering?
A: If your item has not yet shipped or reached the creation stage, we can refund your purchase. However, due to the personal nature of our items, once the order begins the creation process (typically 24 hours after order), there are no refunds on purchases. At this point we will offer you a store credit in the amount of your order. Should you experience a problem with your order, we will be happy to offer you an exchange.

Q: Do you offer wholesale?
A: Yes! Many of our items are available for wholesale or dropshipping. Please contact us using the wholesale/dropship link on our home page, and upon approval we can offer our products at a discount.

Q: How Safe Are Your Products?

A: Safety is our utmost concern with all of our creations! Although we use the strongest adhesive possible, we recommend using care when allowing your child to wear or use our products.

As with any products, we require using common sense when our items are near or around your child. If you notice a stone has come loose, or your baby is a picker, for their safety, we recommend that you refrain from using our product, and return it to us immediately for repair.

All items intended for children are made using certified lead-free stones that meet or exceed the requirements set forth by the CPSIA. If you would like additional information about certification, please contact us.


Q: Can I wash my items from The Trendy Baby?

A: Yes! All apparel should be turned inside out and washed in cold water, then tumble dried on low. The heat from the dryer will actually help the crystals adhesion. We recommend placing an iron set to medium on your apparel if you are concerned you may lose a stone. Stones can also be wiped down with a clean washcloth, and a soft toothbrush if necessary. (Converse can pick up dirt!)


Q: Do You Gift Wrap?
A: Yes! Please make a note during checkout and we will wrap your package at no additional charge... we will even include a note and a packing slip without pricing information- how's that for service?!


Q: Do You Accept Returns?
A: Due to the personal nature of our products, we are unable to accept an item for return. However, if there is a problem with your order, we encourage you to e-mail us within 24 hours of delivery and we can usually accept an item for replacement or repair.

     Items approved for return must be in original unused condition. This includes but is not limited to: Pet stains, pet hair, odors of any kind including food, pet or smoke. Item must be free of rips, tears and be in perfect, unworn condition. Items must be packed carefully to avoid damage to the product during transit- permanent wrinkles or creases in the garment are unacceptable. If product comes with a tag, tag must be attached to the item. Determination if a return meets this criteria is left strictly to the owner, Jessica Akers. Returned items not meeting the criteria will be refused and sent back to the original purchaser. This is to protect us from "prom dress" syndrome returns- or returns that are purchased for a special event or photography session and then returned.

   The Trendy Baby reserves the right to refuse any return that is initiated more than 48 hours after confirmation of delivery.


Q: Will You Create A Custom Design For Me?
A: Yes! We love creating custom designs. In fact, many of the items you see of on for sale pages originated from custom designs. If you need wedding gifts, favors, or corporate gifts, e-mail us and we will create a custom quote based on your needs!
